28 Jun When Toothpaste & Texas Hold’em Come Together
The Arlington Free Clinic had several staff members and volunteers in attendance, who greatly enjoyed the evening and reported that they were able to raise over $1500 in donations, fill a box twice over with dental hygiene items, and spread the word about their monthly clinic tours.

Have you ever wondered about what they do at the Arlington Free Clinic, or thought, “What’s the big deal?” or “How can I help?” Here are some pointers:
- Check out their webpage at arlingtonfreeclinic.org.
- Visit the clinic during one of their Community Tours which take place every Second Wednesday from 6-7pm.
- Consider dropping off a donation of hygiene items, or find time to volunteer – there’s a place for anyone who wants to help!
Many thanks to Kathryn Kovacs and Alicia Nieves for allowing us to partner with them and helping us with logistics. Also, many thanks to the dedicated team at Penrose Square, who helped us launch our BM Smith Gives Back program with this inaugural event. It was a joyous evening of fancy dress and focused gaming, with plenty of laughs and raffle prize wins to go ‘round. It was a fun and fruitful partnership, and we look forward to continuing to support the clinic’s vital work in the Arlington community.
Finally, a word of thanks to our sponsors, who helped make this event so joyful:
Kastle Systems, Waste Not Want Not, High Sierra Pools, Beltway Cleaning Services, Eagle Pest Services, Merino Home Improvement, Apex Carpet Cleaning, Brightview Landscaping, US Energy, Verizon, Sherwin Williams, CertaPro Painters.
Cheers ’til next time!
